Limited Fonts Usage:

The concept here is to select fonts intelligently and not to change it frequently. Select 2 to 3 fonts if necessary to create an appealing visual effect. On the other hand be sure that the fonts are not changed very frequently on a single page. It is difficult to focus on multiple fonts and keep reading as it is disturbing.

Space Out the Elements:

Graphics elements need space. Graphics should not clutter in one place. Space out the graphics and text on the website and create a great visual effect for the site that is created.


Colours play a very important role in graphic design. Each colour we see creates a different psychological impact on our mind. Colours have the power to change mood and affects the buying decisions of the customers too. So select colours for the graphics sensibly. Example, blue colour depicts authority and purple colour royalty. Thus, every colour signifies a particular aspect.

Clean and Crisp Design:

A crisp design is one that conveys clearly the message behind it. The design in itself, as mentioned earlier should not be cluttered and all the elements should be appropriately spaced. Good contrast needs to be used so that the texts and images are easily visible and do not merge.

Keep it Simple:

The basic idea of graphic design is to keep it simple. Make sure that the message is conveyed in the simplest possible way. One should remember that sometimes simple is looked-for. Ensure that the images and the texts are sharp and crisp so that users can read without extra effort.


The vital elements for a good graphic design is the research that goes behind it. It is advisable not to blindly start without understanding the purpose of the design. Gather all the necessary information and all the necessary materials and then begin the design.


We should maintain a contrast between overlapping elements should be maintained or the message will be lost. Contrast if used artistically, makes graphics look awesome. We should ensure that we maintain appropriate contrast between the various elements of our design.

Graphics design is not just about putting images together, it is about creating magic with images. The moment customer sets his eyes upon the image; they should feel the urge to buy it .This is possible only if the graphics are designed with all the basic principles in mind.
