GDA examination under PMKVY, a report, 3rd January, 2016

Brainware Skills reports, that the final examination for the General Duty Assistant was  held on the 3rd of January, 2016, at our Barasat campus. This course comes under the PMKVY, the PradhanMantriKaushalVikasYojana.

The main objective of the course is to train general duty assistants, who can assist nurses in Govt. and Pvt. Hospitals. 24 students had attended both the  Theory and  the Practical examinations.

The practical examination mainly comprised of demonstrations like Bed Making, height weight measurement, assisting patients in crutch walking, checking of temperature and pulse rate and so on.

The Students represent the under privileged sector of our society. This is indeed a commendable and noble initiative by the Govt. to make them self-sufficient and financially independent through this venture.  All the students performed well at the  examination.
