Scoring high marks in BCom is not at all an impossible target. However when it comes to scoring in exams if you fail to plan you plan to fail!. So with some sound strategy and detailed planning you can surely score good marks in BCom semesters. Here are some tips :
A for Accounting : Try to score as high as 90 in the accounting papers. Accounting is numerical/quant based and is very scoring in comparison to theory papers ( where a lot of subjectivity comes in). Practise previous years papers of your University. If you can kill it in the accounting section then you can raise your aggregate to a great extent. Make sure to brush up the concepts and learn formulas by heart.
B for Books : Instead of relying on test series solely, to cover the textbooks as well as the reference books suggested by your supervisors/professors. Your professors will be more familiar with the content of the prescribed books, and referring to such books will easily fetch you more marks.
Study Round The Year : University level studies cannot be covered by burning the midnight oil the day before your exam. So ensure that you study throughout the year – daily. Try to cover your syllabus at least two months before the exam, so that you can spare some time for revision. Consult past years question papers to get a clear idea of what is to come this year.
